MADISON, WI -Friday, May 5, 2006- QWANtify, an information technology consulting organization, officially opened its’ Madison office at 17 Applegate Ct., February 1, 2006. Eighteen years of Information Technology management and business development experience led President/CEO Tammy Adler to establish QWANtify. Tammy is responsible for business development and operations.

QWANtify, specializing in delivering custom software, serves Madison and Milwaukee insurance, health care, utility, retail, education, manufacturing, and government clients. We also offer a wide-range of training, including Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Spring, Hibernate, Ruby on Rails, and Ajax. QWANtify employs some of our industries most experienced software developers, architects, project managers, and business analysts.

“We understand the complex and dynamic world of enterprise software development. Our agile and pragmatic approach boosts team productivity, streamlines communication, increases software quality and minimizes risk. It also reduces defects, and speeds delivery of value added software, enabling the development of systems adaptable to change,” explains Kirk Knoernschild, QWANtify’s Chief Technology Strategist.

Recently, QWANtify has become certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). They are the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations and government agencies. This certification expands QWANtify’s visibility among decision makers in corporate supplier diversity and procurement.

With recent changing corporate philosophies, companies such as QWANtify are finding that more of their clients are requesting this type of certification. This certification allows many private and government clients to count purchases from QWANtify towards their diversity program.

Woman-owned businesses must ensure they are primarily controlled and operated by women. The certification is about a 90-day process consisting of in-depth documentation, site visits with detailed questions about who is the major decision maker for management directives, hiring, purchasing and other corporate decisions that affect the company.

“No company becomes or remains certified unless they continue to meet WBENC’s rigid standards,” states Adler. “QWANtify’s approach to business and attracting clients won’t change, this is another value added service for our diversity focused clients that will contribute to our future expansion.”
