The PDS Mobility Expo will present the facts about these services and the future of mobile data technologies through an informative and interactive event. Attendees will qualify to win one of many free giveaways, including smartphones, wireless cards and other mobile related items.

“For mobile data services, businesses today call IT solution providers, not phone companies,” said Austin Park, vice president of infrastructure services for PDS (Paragon Development Systems). “PDS will show businesses how to adopt an end-to-end mobile solution.”

At the event, PDS, one of Wisconsin’s leading providers of IT services and products, will announce a new mobility service aimed at lightening the load for IT managers and filling support gaps left by manufacturers and wireless providers – the “PDS Mobile Data Services” solution.

“Companies have key individuals who need to be ‘always on and always secure from anywhere,’ which is driving the mobility trend,” said Park. Gartner, Inc. reports by the end of 2008,

80 percent of enhanced mobile phones and smartphones will be able to access wireless e-mail and personal information manager services.

The PDS Mobility Expo is sponsored by PDS, Microsoft, Intel, HP, and McAfee.
