Leadership Comprised of Prominent Financial Executives from Madison Community
MADISON , Wisconsin , October 5, 2006 – The Madison , Wisconsin chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI), the leading advocate for the views of corporate financial management, announced today the election of its officers for the 2006-2007 term. The chapter, which was chartered in September, elected the officers during its inaugural chapter meeting.
“On behalf of FEI, I would like to welcome and congratulate our newly-appointed officers in our recently-chartered Madison chapter,” said Colleen Cunningham, president and chief executive officer of FEI. “As FEI celebrates the 75th anniversary of its first chapter in 1931, the formation of this chapter comes at a special time for us. We remain committed to bringing together financial executives both locally and nationally, and providing them with a unique forum for networking and knowledge gathering.”
“The formation of FEI’s Madison chapter resulted from the growing need to address the specific business dynamics in Madison ,” said FEI Madison’s newly-elected president, Kenneth Minor. “We aim to bring together the strong group of financial executives existing in the Southern Wisconsin region and provide them with an opportunity to discuss the issues facing the industry, in a community of their professional peers.”
Charter members include many prominent financial executives within the Madison community, from companies such as Alliant Energy Corporation, Promega Corporation, Tomo Therapy, Great Wolf Resorts, CUNA Mutual Group, Sonic Foundry, Telephone and Data Systems, and First Business Financial Services.
