The entire staff, including salesmen Tom Gordy, Brian Kennedy and Andy Lang will be on hand to explain different applications and processes of packaging. Vendors including Automated Packaging Systems, Glue Dots International, Air Pouch, Bollore Films, Dorner Manufacturing and Texwrap will be on site demonstrating their product lines.

Seminars will be given by Jim Peters, who will be discussing current trends in retail and industrial packaging at 4:30 and 6:00 pm. A 20 year plus veteran of the packaging industry, Jim is currently the Director of Education for the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP). Jim is also the chairperson for the upcoming Packaging Summit Conference 2006 and writes a monthly column in Point of Purchase (P.O.P) publication.

Managed Packaging Systems was founded in 2001 by Bill Steuer and Scott Fischer who wanted to bring something unique to the packaging industry by concentrating on matching packaging materials, machinery and management to offer a distinct advantage over current packaging options in the marketplace. Understanding and embracing the responsibility to design, deliver and manage programs has been the main contributor to their growth.
