(Brookfield, February 13, 2006) — Dr. Paul Thomas, one of only 400 chiropractic neurologists in the world–and the only one in the Milwaukee area–has opened an office at 675 N. Brookfield Rd. in Brookfield.

Chiropractic neurology combines the biomechanical/orthopedic aspects of chiropractic care, with the latest techniques of assessment and rehabilitation of the central nervous system. “This results in care that incorporates all of a patient’s symptoms into one complete treatment plan that’s specific for that patient’s body and brain. It’s an option that is natural and non-invasive,” Dr. Thomas says.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1998, earned his post-doctorate degree in Neurology one year ago, and is a board certified Chiropractic Neurologist. He specializes in diagnosing functional imbalances in the central nervous system that can cause many of today’s chronic health problems, such as fibromyalgia, unrelenting back and neck pain, vertigo, and learning disabilities, to name a few.

According to Dr. Thomas, his treatments, depending on individual cases, include specific chiropractic adjustments, and brain-based exercises to restore balance within the central nervous system.

He is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association and lectures educators, therapist, brain injury rehab specialists and the public on neurological topics.
