Subject: Proposed Chiropractic Initiative

It is our understanding that the referenced bill drafts have been prepared at the request of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association who is currently searching for a bill author and co-sponsors.
Due to the scope and expansive nature of the proposed bill, we respectfully request that you not sign as a sponsor/co-sponsor for reasons that include the following:
– The bill draft contains significant public policy changes impacting each of our organizations.
– As we approach the end of the 2005-06 legislative floor period, we do not believe there is sufficient time for a thoughtful analysis and full debate on an initiative of this magnitude.
Each of the organizations making this request have their own parochial set of concerns and objections to the proposed bill draft. Should you wish additional information, please feel free to contact any of our organizations for further information.
