B&R Enterprises LLC: Tradewinds Business Centre Anchors in Madison

B&R Enterprises LLC of Madison announces the official groundbreaking of Tradewinds Business Centre in Madison, Wisconsin, with construction beginning on its anchor building at 4801 Tradewinds Parkway. The mixed use commercial real estate development consists of 27 acres of Beltline Highway frontage immediately east of Highway 51 and a half mile from the Interstate.

“We view this business park as an opportunity to create an attractive presence for what really is the entrance to Madison,” stated Dennis Bauer, President of B&R Enterprises, referring to the development’s unique position as the first business park on the Beltline from the Interstate system. “We are committed to designing it well and reflecting Madison’s quality.” The 45,000 square foot anchor building, designed by Kahler Slater Architects of Milwaukee, features a primarily brick and glass façade.

At a recent groundbreaking ceremony, B&R Enterprises celebrated with future tenants Mandli Communications, the Wisconsin State Metrology Lab, Mad City Techs, and Bauer & Raether Builders. Mandli Communications, a growing high tech company providing data collection services to the transportation industry, as well as media conversion, is currently located in Oregon, Wisconsin, and will be moving about 40 people to its new location in Madison. Additionally, the State of Wisconsin Metrology Lab, which tests commercial weights and measures for accuracy and compliance, and Mad City Techs, a provider of computer technology services for businesses and individuals, will be relocating their offices and labs to the 4801 Tradewinds Parkway building.

Madison-based Bauer & Raether Builders, Inc., a sister company to B&R Enterprises, is the general contractor for the project and will establish its headquarters at the location as well. “Tradewinds Business Centre’s superb location with easy access to both greater Madison, surrounding communities, and the Interstate system has generated a great deal of interest, and we anticipate more exciting announcements for the park in the months to come,” says Dennis Bauer.
