MADISON – The Bindley Collection, a gallery that will include art and fine crafts created by more than 60 Wisconsin and regional artists will open October 27 at Hilldale Shopping Center.
Colleen Bindley, owner, noted for her hand-crafted jewelry she has exhibited for the last 15 years, was the driving force behind Twenty Hands Gallery, the seasonal art gallery which was open during November and December the last three years at Hilldale.
Bindley has doubled the number of artists who will sell their works on a year-round basis. Items range from $10 to more than $2000.
Jewelry, graphic art and pottery will account for more than 50 per cent of the artworks along with wood, fiber, glass, metals and more. Artists will be working in the gallery, on a rotating basis, to see their art.
Bindley Collection will be next to Woldenberg’s in 2200 square feet of space.
An open house is planned for noon-4 p.m., November 4.
