Publication to be Accessible Online

WISCONSIN DELLS, WI — The well-recognized and much sought-after Wisconsin Dells Travel & Attraction Guide, with an annual circulation of 1 million, is going high tech.

Starting Friday, March 17, the entire publication will be available online at www.dells.com, a travel planning website for the Wisconsin Dells region which has over 5 million viewers.

“Thanks to breakthroughs in website technology, travelers will now be able to flip through the 2006 Wisconsin Dells Travel & Attraction Guide located at www.dells.com and www.wistravel.com just like they would an actual print edition,” according to Tom Gussel, president of Ad-Lit Inc. Ad-Lit, as producer of the Guide, www.dells.com and www.wistravel.com enthusiastically embraces this new technology.

Gussel adds that an added bonus of the online edition is that when a consumer clicks on any ad of interest to them, they will automatically be linked to that advertiser’s website.

“This level of interaction can be extremely useful for a traveler in planning their vacation,” says Gussel.

“If they see an ad that appeals to them for lodging, with a simple click of the mouse they will be able to go straight to that hotel’s website to make sure it has the amenities they want and place a reservation. It will truly make vacation planning easy.”

According to Gussel, the 2006 Wisconsin Dells Travel & Attraction Guide will also be available on www.wistravel.com, Wisconsin’s premier online travel resource website, which has over 2 million visitors annually.

Ad-Lit was founded 40 years ago by Gussel as a brochure distribution company for Wisconsin Dells attractions. In 1977, the company produced the first Wisconsin Dells Travel & Attraction Guide, followed by the Summer Wisconsin Travel Guide in 1989, the Dells/Delton Menu Book in 1990, the Winter Wisconsin Travel Guide in 1992 and the Wisconsin Dells Seasonal Adventures Vacation Guide in 1997. All of these publications will be placed online later this year. In addition, Ad-Lit serves 230 print distribution customers with its fleet of 12 distribution trucks. In 1995, the company also launched two major travel websites, www.dells.com and www.wistravel.com. Ad-Lit also created a Web Solutions division in January, 2006.

Ad-Lit, which is located at 211 Pioneer Drive in Wisconsin Dells, has 32 full-time and 12 seasonal employees. For more information please visit www.ad-lit.com or call 608-254-8770.
