The Pathway Plan will cover all Wisconsinites while ensuring strong consumer protections
WHAT: ABC for Health will be holding a press conference to announce the unveiling of a universal health care plan for Wisconsin, called The Pathway Plan. The Pathway Plan will extend BadgerCare coverage, and include a buy-in component for individuals, small business and other employers. In response to the needs of consumers, The Pathway Plan will create The Office of Health Care Advocacy and Outreach to include a comprehensive advocacy piece featuring health benefits counselors, health care navigators, and independent outreach and enrollment brokers.

WHO: ABC for Health is a Wisconsin-based, nonprofit, public interest law firm dedicated to linking children and families, particularly those with special health care needs, to health care benefits and services.
