Madison, WI – Built with help from technology companies that include Microsoft Corp. of Redmond, WA, and Sundial Software Corporation of Madison, WI, www.katrinasafe.com (or
www.katrinasafe.org) is the American Red Cross’s official “Family Linking” site. The web site allows the friends and family of Hurricane Katrina victims to locate an evacuee’s most recent relief site.

KatrinaSafe.com’s database has been compiled from numerous separate relief site databases, many of which contained duplicate or conflicting information. Sundial Software Corporation has developed tools that “scrub” this data by eliminating duplicates and consolidating the information. The resulting database is the most comprehensive and reliable evacuee locater available.

“We are honored to use our expertise with Microsoft .NET© and Microsoft SQL technologies to help Hurricane Katrina victims and loved ones find each other. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims,” said Curtis Clark, President of Sundial Software Corporation. “We had been working closely with our partner company, AMB Dataminers, Inc., in developing these tools. When we learned through them that we could contribute to the Katrina relief effort by providing our services, we jumped at the opportunity.”

Strategically located in Madison, Wausau and Appleton, WI, Sundial Software Corporation is a quality provider of outsourced information technology including staff augmentation, specialized consulting, project management, sophisticated software development, and small business services to Wisconsin’s data processing community since 1996.
