MILWAUKEE, WI – Today Starkmedia announced the launch of the newly redesigned Milwaukee Public Television web site. The new version of mptv.org provides more insight into the programming and goals of MPTV. Thus far, response to the site has been overwhelmingly positive.
“The new design of the web site is just exceptional,” says Tom Dvorak, Director of MPTV Broadcasting. “It is very easy to use and reflects the quality of our programming. Our staff especially appreciates that they can easily make updates to the site when necessary.”
Besides the new sleek design of mptv.org, the home page now highlights an upcoming MPTV program each day. A News & Events area was also added so visitors can stay informed of changes at MPTV, upcoming programs, and local news as well. Links to locally produced programs are featured along the bottom of the home page, giving the site a distinctive local flavor.
Milwaukee Public Television is a public service outreach of the Milwaukee Area Technical College. It operates two not-for-profit public television stations, Channels 10 and 36, that serve eleven counties throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Nearly 1.9 million viewers watch both channels each week.
