Madison, Wis., October 3, 2005 – In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, one the most devastating natural disasters in American history, relief organizations are doing their best to get food, water, and supplies to those in need, efforts that require a great deal of funding. Employees of international laser printer part distributor Parts Now! have responded by raising donations for the rebuilding effort.
“To do our part to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Parts Now! has matched donations from its employees dollar for dollar,” Parts Now! CEO Jay Spaanem said. Parts Now! employees donated $3,860, which Parts Now! matched for a final donation of $7,720 given to the American Red Cross.
“We hope our donation will help in the rebuilding effort of the Gulf Coast region,” said Christina Richardson, a member of Parts Now!’s Fundraising Committee.
