April 11, 2005, Plymouth, WI. Orion Energy Services has named West Bend area native Joe Lennartz Director of Project Management, the Plymouth, Wisconsin, company has announced.

Lennartz had been employed for three years in a technical sales capacity for Ener-Save, a division of Steiner Electric Co. that handles Orion products, and had been with Steiner in a similar capacity before that. He has been a licensed electrician for 30 years.

"Throughout my career I’ve been interested in saving money for my customers," Lennartz said.

"What attracted me to Orion was what Orion could do for American companies, industrial or commercial — cut their power consumption by over 50 percent and save them thousands per year. I’ve seen it in person and I never get tired of hearing about it or working with it. I’m glad to have this opportunity."

"Joe Lennartz brings us a unique mix of experience and skills," commented Orion president Neal Verfuerth. "A major part of what he will be involved in involves scientifically proving to clients that our claims and promises either have been or will be borne out in actual practice. This is crucial to us since we guarantee a level of savings in writing in all our retrofit sales contracts. It can be crucial to our clients as well."

"We’re committed to the idea that the best way to implement energy efficiency is to make it financially attractive to customers, and we’re confident that Joe will play a major role in helping Orion become a major player in the energy efficiency revolution now going on in the United States," Verfuerth concluded.
