New “Rich Media” Message created by OCR for business community

The Office of Corporate Relations (OCR) has produced a new “rich media” communication for the business community describing the services of OCR and the resources of the UW-Madison.

The message, which is two minutes and 38 seconds long, is being distributed via email, as well as being posted on the OCR home page..

The message, “Putting the Resources of a World-Class University to Work for Your Business,” is a combination of a video message from OCR Managing Director Charles Hoslet, a series of slides that support his message, and a hyperlink to the OCR home page that provides more information aboutfor accessing the university’s resources for business.

“We are using this new communications technology to reach members of the business community in Wisconsin and beyond with our basic message that UW-Madison has a wealth of resources and assets that can help themcompanies compete and flourish,” Hoslet said. .

Hoslet called the new communications technology “a highly efficient way of presenting our messages directly to our key audiences, both off- and on-campus.”.
