Milwaukee, WI (May 18, 2005) – The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich is pleased to announce that Grant C. Killoran recently was re-elected by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin to serve another two-year term as one of Wisconsin’s five Delegates to the American Bar Association House of Delegates. Mr. Killoran previously served terms as a State Bar Delegate to the American Bar Association in 2003 and 1997.
The American Bar Association House of Delegates is the policy-making body of the American Bar Association. Established in 1936, the House has over 500 members and its actions become the official policy of the ABA, the nation’s largest lawyer association.
Mr. Killoran is a partner and member of the Michael Best’s Litigation Practice Group, with diverse trial experience, focusing on complex business and health care disputes. He is the Chair of the firm’s Health Law Litigation Focus Group and its Pro Bono Committee. In 2003, Mr. Killoran was named an “Outstanding Health Care Litigator” by Nightingale’s Healthcare News, a national health law publication. He was one of only 12 lawyers from around the county given this designation, and one of only two litigators so designated in the Midwest.
