Local Investor Pledges to Continue Moving Forward

Madison – With the announcement that Gorman & Company has withdrawn from the redevelopment plans for Ridgewood Country Club Apartments, local investors E.J. Plesko & Associates have pledged to continue the plans to redevelop the property, an 832-unit complex located on Fish Hatchery Road in Fitchburg.
“I want to assure the community of Fitchburg that our commitment is absolutely solid and that we have taken immediate steps to move this project forward,” said E.J. Plesko.
The company has retained Fiduciary Real Estate of Milwaukee to continue as property managers while redevelopment plans continue. In addition, Madison based Suby, Von Haden & Associates will consult on the project; a new real estate legal counsel will be enjoined; the current urban land master planner will be retained, as well as a highly respected redevelopment company that will also become part of the team.
“The real estate redevelopment business is a continuing process and a business that is not without bumps in the road. We are moving forward with this project,” said Plesko. “We enjoyed working with Gary Gorman and his folks, and we are putting the team together to accomplish what we set out to do. We have an excellent working relationship with Fitchburg Mayor Tom Clauder and the city council and we’ll continue on that road as we move this project forward.”
