MADISON, Wis.—On Tuesday, October 25, 2005, AnchorBank, fsb and Habitat for Humanity of Dane County will host a house blessing for the first AnchorBank sponsored home, located on Brandenburg Way, in the Twin Oaks subdivision on Madison’s southeast side. The event will begin at 4 p.m. with speakers from Habitat for Humanity, the benefiting homeowner and Douglas Timmerman, AnchorBank Chairman of the Board and CEO.
“Our relationship with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is a very strong one, given Anchor’s origins as a residential real estate lender”, said Timmerman. “We are very pleased that we were able to contribute the money and volunteers necessary to build this home—and that the Aschliman family will make many happy memories here.”
