Kick-off event Thursday, October 14th
The Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORSR (GMAR) will celebrate the
formation of a chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real
Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in Milwaukee.
The kick off event will be held on Thursday, October 14th from 5:30 –
8:00 PM at the United Community Center, 1028 S. 9th Street, Milwaukee.
Confirmed speakers at the event include Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and
WHEDA Executive Director Antonio Riley.
The local chapter of NAHREP will be known as the National Association of
Hispanic Real Estate Professionals of Greater Milwaukee (NAHREP-GM).
“With the growing Hispanic population in greater Milwaukee, we need to
provide our members with products and services to help put Hispanic
families into homes,” according to Peter M. Stefaniak, Chairman of the
GMAR.
“NAHREP-GM will also work to provide potential Hispanic homeowners with
information on the home buying process and services that they can
trust,” stated Mike Ruzicka, GMAR President.
