(De Pere, Wis.) – Tweet/Garot Mechanical – a 120-year- old mechanical
contracting and engineering firm in Northeast and Central Wisconsin –
has purchased 42 acres of property in Wrightstown for a new
manufacturing facility. The announcement from Tweet/Garot Chairman
Timothy Howald follows the recent relocation of the company’s
corporate headquarters to De Pere.
“Our new manufacturing facility in Wrightstown will consolidate our
existing fabrication shops in Green Bay with an eye toward the future,”
Howald said. “Our goal is to design a uniquely lean facility that will give
us the space and versatility to become a leading manufacturer of
mechanical installation kits and assemblies, while giving us the freedom
to continue exploring the cutting edge of modular construction.”
Groundbreaking for the 90,000 square foot manufacturing facility, to be
located along Interstate 41 at the County U interchange in Wrightstown,
is expected to take place in October. The facility is expected to be
operational in late summer 2018, employing approximately 50.
“We would like to thank the Village of Wrightstown for their assistance
with this effort,” said Christopher Howald, Tweet/Garot CEO. “Village
officials have been outstanding to work with and we appreciate their
support in creating the infrastructure that is needed for our new facility.”
Meanwhile, Tweet/Garot’s move to a new corporate headquarters in De
Pere was recently completed. “Our new office is perfect for our growing,
collaborative, and integrative teams,” said Christopher Howald. “We put
an emphasis on building our culture and process into the new work
environment, which has brought us closer together as a company and
already increased efficiency.” The 60,000 square foot corporate
headquarters is located at 325 Reid Street in De Pere.
