BELOIT, Wis. – Five former members of Bradco Supply Corp.’s corporate headquarters team have joined ABC Supply Co. Inc.’s National Support Center (NSC) team here.
ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products, acquired Avenel, N.J.-based Bradco earlier this year. The purchase added nearly 2,000 associates at 128 building material supply locations in 30 states to the ABC Supply roster.
The new Beloit-based NSC associates are: Mike Foss, operations specialist; Steve Kubicka, director of commercial products; Mark Miller, application administrator; Mark Singer, director of real estate; and Walt Zimmerman, director of metal products.
“ABC Supply’s National Support Center exists to support our branches and the associates working in the field across the country,” said ABC Supply Chief Executive Officer and President David Luck. “Our acquisition of Bradco greatly expanded our customer base and broadened our product offering, which created a need for us to provide additional support in a variety of areas.
“These Bradco associates bring a wealth of valuable industry experience to our NSC operations and we are delighted that they have chosen to join the ABC Supply family,” he added.
Foss will focus on large strategic projects related to operations, distribution and delivery. He resides in Janesville, Wis. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the wholesale distribution and building materials industries and served as senior business consultant for Bradco.
Kubicka is responsible for product selection and vendor relationships. He was commercial products director for Bradco. A nearly 35-year industry veteran, he brings a unique perspective to his position because, prior to spending nearly 25 years working on the distribution side of the business with Bradco, he worked with roofing materials manufacturer Johns Manville and as a commercial roofing contractor.
Miller maintains ABC Supply’s electronic time clock, fleet operations and maintenance system, and enterprise asset management system. He lives in Beloit. He served as business analyst/application administrator for Bradco and has 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, ranging from software development to business analysis.
Singer is responsible for ABC Supply’s real estate portfolio, including managing current holdings, acquiring new facilities, construction, renovations and maintenance. He was director of real estate for Bradco and has had an extensive career in commercial real estate and building material distribution.
Sharing his mantra of “Metal Matters,” Zimmerman is responsible for the sale of commercial metal roofing, primarily to large commercial contractors, as well as metal panels and commercial sheet metal. He was director of metal products for Bradco and has four decades of experience in the industrial, commercial and architectural metal industry.
