The council serves as a credible voice for the needs and concerns of small businesses throughout the greater Madison area.

The SBAC, in partnership with the City of Madison, has been working to enhance communication strategies to assist businesses impacted by road construction projects. A product of their work is a road construction survival guide for businesses. The guide offers tips and business practices to consider before, during and after road construction projects.

In addition to the unveiling of the survival guide, the Mayor and city staff will discuss the new city road works website and other new resources available to businesses and residents impacted by construction.
