WisBusiness.com: BRANDING SUCCESS STORIES FORUM

Join WisBusiness.com, Forward Wisconsin and branding experts from the corporate and non-profit world as we explore branding success stories.

As the state seeks to refine its brand and improve its marketing reach, a lot can be learned from top Wisconsin corporations that have molded successful brands in an increasingly competitive environment. Miller Brewing Co.’s Lite beer endures as one of the great national brands. Kohler Co. took its brand for quality plumbing to the golf world and will host the 2004 PGA championship this summer at Whistling Straits north of Sheboygan. And Harley-Davidson, which brought international attention to Milwaukee with its 100th anniversary celebration last year, is synonymous with quality motorcycling.

Branding experts from Miller Brewing Co. and Kohler Co. will join branding expert Mark Schmitz, of Z-D Studios in Madison, and Tom Farley, of the non-profit Chris Farley Foundation, in a moderated panel discussion. Representatives of some other top southeastern Wisconsin corporations also have been invited to join in the discussion, which will be introduced by a brief Forward Wisconsin presentation.

The panel discussion will be followed by a reception.
