AirFire Mobile: First wireless carrier to introduce coupon phone

Provides affordable mobile advertising opportunity to Wisconsin businesses

LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. — Wisconsin-based AirFire Mobile today launched the first-of-its-kind, no-contract coupon phone that can pay for itself in local mobile marketing deals, discounts and coupon savings.

The $35 per month coupon phone, featuring unlimited talk, text, web service and picture mail, quickly and easily connects customers with one-click mobile coupon access to discounts at local businesses.

“With more than 90% of consumers reading their incoming text messages, the AirFire Mobile coupon phone targets consumers in their preferred medium,” said Abraham S. Levine, Chief Operating Officer of AirFire Mobile. “Customers will simply show the coupon displayed on their phone at local businesses when they are ready to buy.”

AirFire Mobile’s local focus offers small businesses an opportunity for affordable advertising to specified customer prospects in their Wausau, Madison, Fox Valley, Green Bay and other Wisconsin markets.

“Many small businesses pour resources into traditional advertising vehicles, but they have no idea who they are reaching,” said Jeff Hutkoff, Director of Marketing. “AirFire’s coupon phone enables local companies to begin advertising in a mobile format that reaches consumers in a medium they consume daily. They’ll have a far better idea of who is seeing and responding to their ad thanks to click-through information and coupon redemption activity.”

“We’re giving consumers a value-priced product that may literally pay for itself in coupons for local products and services that are relevant to our subscribers,” Hutkoff said. “And we’re helping local small businesses navigate the complex world of mobile marketing in the process.”

AirFire Mobile, a service of Airadigm Communications, Inc., is a Wisconsin wireless carrier providing service since 1996. AirFire Mobile was the first Wisconsin carrier to launch both prepaid and advanced pay wireless service in Wisconsin.
