Germantown, Wisconsin– MGS Mfg. Group, Inc., a leading provider of engineered manufacturing solutions to the plastics industry, will be host to approximately 20 students from Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) on Tuesday, March 5.
The first-year students, who are enrolled in WCTC’s Moldmaking/CNC Machining course, will visit MGS to receive a tour of its mold making, specialty equipment fabrication and injection molding facilities. Afterwards, MGS will provide a classroom session where MGS representatives from key areas (including design, mold making, project engineering, programming, and CNC machining) will engage the students and educate them on those fields of study.
MGS plans to strengthen its partnership with area schools and continue down the mutually beneficial path of educating students about the promising careers that are available in manufacturing. The company will increase participation in sponsoring facility tours and educational seminars for students at the high school and college level. Additionally, MGS continues to exhibit at career fairs, where students of all ages can learn more about local businesses and the breadth of jobs that be obtained at those companies.
It is MGS Mfg. Group’s goal to encourage students to stay in school and choose a career path that will lead them to a long term, successful career in manufacturing, and perhaps, lead the elite to MGS.
