Company relocating from Illinois; will create 105 jobs

MADISON—Governor Scott Walker announced today that Catalyst Exhibits, Inc., Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha, County, will receive a $500,000 loan from the Community Development Block Grant–Economic Development (CDBG-ED) program of the Department of Commerce (Commerce) to relocate its operation from Illinois to Pleasant Prairie.

“Since we took office in January we’ve worked hard to Open Wisconsin for Business and to grow jobs,” Governor Walker said. “The decision by Catalyst Exhibits, Inc. to relocate to Wisconsin is a positive sign that our efforts are paying off. I’m pleased that we could assist the company with this job-creating project.”

Catalyst Exhibits, Inc. provides its clients with full-service trade show support, including design, fabrication, and implementation of programs and elements. It will occupy a 144,000-sq.-ft. facility in the Lakeview Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie. The company will use the Department of Commerce loan for working capital and new equipment. The project will create 105 jobs and represents a total investment of $2.5 million. The Kenosha Area Business Alliance has also committed financing for this project in the form of a $1.25 million low interest loan that will fund necessary building renovations.
