State Schools Superintendent Candidates Webcasts

Pecatonica School District Superintendent Jill Underly and former Brown Deer School District Superintendent Deborah Kerr won the top two spots in this year’s state schools superintendent primary, moving on to face off in the April 6 general election.

According to unofficial returns, Underly had 27.3 percent of the vote, while Kerr had 26.5 percent.

Ahead of the primary, the state’s seven schools superintendent candidates participated in a focused discussion around computer science education in Wisconsin. The webcast conversation was done in partnership with the Milwaukee Tech Hub Coalition (www.mketech.org), WisPolitics.com and WisBusiness.com.
