Brookfield, WI – June 3, 2026 – The Elmbrook Education Foundation is proud to announce the donation of $77,577 to the Unified Sports program in our Elmbrook Schools ensuring this tradition lives on for many years to come. Unified Sports creates opportunities for students of all abilities to connect through inclusive athletics. Through teamwork, friendship, school spirit, and shared experiences, these programs help students grow both on and off the field.
“I cannot thank the Elmbrook Education Foundation, district staff, student participants, and families enough for their yearlong fundraising efforts and their commitment to expanding Unified Sports. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated to ensure the legacy of Unified Sports continues.
Unified Sports has a profound and positive impact on so many students—and perhaps most importantly, it shines a light on the strengths, experiences, and value that a “special” population of students has within our district and community. We all benefit from Unified. This commitment is just
one more example of what makes Elmbrook a leading district in the state and the country. I’m proud
to be an Elmbrook graduate.” Hannah Christianson, Founder of Unified Sports in Elmbrook
Funding will go towards staffing for coaching and coordination, uniforms and equipment, program expansion into the middle school buildings, and long-term infrastructure and support. We are grateful to so many in our community who supported this initiative. A special thank you to D&M Accounting and Consulting Services for their $20,000 donation to Unified Sports.
“My goal with this donation was to provide sports and athletics to children who do not have the same
avenues as others. Seeing this need as a father of a daughter with special needs, I wanted to lend
whatever support I could to Unified Sports. I would not be where I am in my life if it were not for
athletics. I wanted to do what I could to ensure everyone has that opportunity.” Jason Jendrach, President, D&M Accounting and Consulting Services
EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. In 2020, our mission shifted once again to include
teacher and staff recognition and appreciation activities. EEF has awarded almost $1,900,000 in scholarships and over $925,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and
support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
