WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — Sandy Knoll Disc Golf Course has been recognized as one of the top disc golf courses in Wisconsin by UDisc, the world’s largest disc golf app. Sandy Knoll ranked 7th out of 471 courses statewide! Sandy Knoll County Park features a full 18-hole championship disc golf course, along with an additional 9-hole beginner-friendly course.
This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of staff, volunteers and supporters who contribute year-round to maintaining and enhancing the course experience for players of all skill levels.
Special recognition goes to volunteers Rick Nelson and Bruce Wilks for their ongoing efforts and commitment to the course.
“We are extremely proud of what has been accomplished together and look forward to continuing to make Sandy Knoll one of the premier disc golf destinations in Wisconsin,” said Josh Hamm, owner of Riverside Disc Golf. “This recognition is a direct reflection of the dedication, hard work, and continued improvements made throughout the property.”
Hamm also expressed appreciation to the entire Washington County Parks staff for their continued support and maintenance efforts that help keep the course in outstanding condition.
“This recognition would not have been possible without their support through annual maintenance, mowing, stump grinding, and providing materials and services such as the portable restrooms on the property, woodchips, and traffic bond,” Hamm said.
Sandy Knoll continues to attract players from across the state with its scenic landscape, challenging layout, and ongoing commitment to excellence.
