MILWAUKEE (April 14, 2026) – The annual Mount Mary Student Fashion Shows returns on Friday, May 8, showcasing the next generation of design talent.
The theme for the 2026 event, “Fashion Framed,” celebrates vision and creativity transformed into wearable art. The show will be planned by eight members of the Fashion Show Coordination class and will feature a gallery-style presentation of original works by student designers.
This year’s show will be the largest to date, featuring over 120 original looks by 26 designers. Highlights include WNBA-inspired looks in partnership with the Blue Angels Basketball team, and collaborative projects with Wisconsin Sea Grant, Milwaukee Riverkeeper and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) using sustainable materials to eliminate micro-plastic waste.
The show will also feature winners of the annual Uniquely Yours contest, which challenges high school students to creatively “upcycle” materials into runway garments.
The 2026 Mount Mary Student Fashion Show will take place at 1, 5 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8 in the Alumnae Dining Room, located in Bergstrom Hall (Mount Mary campus).
