HARTLAND, Wis. — The Charleston Orwig Collective, comprised of 100% employee-owned, full-service agencies C.O.nxt and Jigsaw, announces the promotion of three team members whose contributions have been instrumental to the agency’s growth and client success.
Martin (Marty) Defatte has been promoted from Front-End Developer to Senior Developer & AI Engineer—a newly created role that reflects both his technical expertise and The Collective’s commitment to advancing its AI-driven digital capabilities. In this role, Defatte leads the development of AI-powered tools, oversees full-stack web development, and collaborates with account and creative teams to deliver next-generation digital experiences. Defatte holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in both Printmaking and Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. He joined Jigsaw, The Collective’s digitally forward agency, in 2015 and became a registered Apple Software Developer earlier this year.
“Marty’s promotion reflects the tremendous impact he’s had across our organization,” said Johnny Abbate, Director of Digital Services. “He’s been instrumental in integrating AI into our workflows: enhancing efficiency, accelerating problem-solving and elevating the quality of our work. We’re excited to see him continue to lead innovation in this new role.”
On the client services team, Anna Grace Brown and Kendall Zoeller have both been promoted from Account Executives to Senior Account Executives. In their new roles, they will take on expanded client relationship responsibilities, contribute to strategic account planning and mentor junior team members. With lifelong involvement in agriculture and extensive experience in food marketing, both Brown and Zoeller support C.O.nxt’s roster of agricultural clients.
Brown joined The Collective in 2023 as an Assistant Account Executive and was later promoted to Account Executive. Brown brings both personal and professional experience to agriculture marketing, having grown up on her family’s Tennessee farm, where she still lives today. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she served as a state officer for Tennessee FFA.
Zoeller also joined The Collective in 2023 as an Account Executive. In addition to an extensive background in livestock production and agricultural marketing, Zoeller holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture communications with a minor in agriculture leadership from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science in agriculture communications from Texas Tech University.
“Anna Grace and Kendall are invaluable members of our team,” said Brittany Steuer, Executive Vice President of Client Services. “Their deep expertise in agriculture and food marketing, combined with their ability to deliver strategic counsel and exceptional client service, makes this next step a natural progression. We’re excited to see them grow in these new roles.”
The Collective continues to expand its capabilities across brand strategy, media and emerging technology, with AI playing an increasingly central role in its digital offerings.
