Starting 7:00 am on Monday, March 2nd, R. G Huston will begin the first phase of construction on Hawthorne Court. This project will be completed in multiple phases and will impact University Avenue, N. Lake Street, and W. Dayton Street during construction.
During Phase 1, University Avenue will be reduced to two westbound travel lanes, starting at Bassett Street. Access to Hawthorne Court will be restricted during this phase. No interruption to Metro Transit routes are expected at any phase during this project.
More information on Phase 2 and Phase 3 will be released as the project completes the first phase.
