Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance: New manufacturing alliance announces Internship Draft Day at Lambeau Field

The Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) is pleased to announce the 11th annual “Internship Draft Day” at Lambeau Field on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 3 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.  The event is co-sponsored by the NEW Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) and the Northeast Wisconsin Educational Resource Alliance (NEW ERA).  Over 200 college students from throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan will have the opportunity to interview with over 50 NEWMA member companies offering more than 200 paid internships and co-ops.

Ann Franz, executive director of NEWMA stated, “Before last April’s NFL Draft, our organization has been a trendsetter in hosting a Draft at Lambeau for 10 years.”  Franz added, “Internship Draft Day is an innovative approach to the college internship fair by having students earning points for how well they interview and the top point getters will be announced as the number one draft pick from their college.”  Prior to the event, students received points for participation in college clubs, relevant work experience and their overall GPA.  At the end of the day, we will be announcing the number one draft picks based on the points the students earned during the event.  The top overall Draft Pick will receive a $2,500 college scholarship for the upcoming college term from the Alliance.  This year’s event will sponsor $7,500 worth of college scholarships for 9 college students that are named the top draft pick for their colleges.
