Company builds out existing presence and adds a Sun Prairie office
Madison, WI – September 29, 2025 – Johnson Financial Group, the largest family owned bank in the state, continues its Madison-area expansion, building out its existing presence and adding a new Sun Prairie branch. The company is renovating and expanding two existing offices in the region, further solidifying its commitment to the local community.
Johnson Financial Group has maintained a nearly 30-year presence in the greater Madison community and this investment is a signal of its deepening commitment to the region. As the second largest market in the state, this expansion allows Johnson Financial Group to grow its services to residents in Greater Madison to meet their banking, wealth, mortgage and commercial lending needs.

Late last year, the company closed their west location at 525 Junction Road and moved to a newly renovated location near West Towne Mall located at 448 S. Gammon Road. Johnson Financial Group also opened a new branch in Sun Prairie, located at 186 South City Station Drive on September 8, 2025. The 3,333-square-foot, full-service branch location will provide banking, wealth and mortgage lending services. Additionally, the company’s existing downtown Madison office, situated at 10 East Doty Street within the historic Block 89 building, has undergone extensive renovations. Scheduled to reopen in October, the revamped office will provide an enhanced client experience with a full team of advisors conveniently located in one office.
