Supervisor Vincent: To tap keg at 2025 Whitnall Park Beer Garden season opener

MILWAUKEE – Supervisor Kathleen Vincent will tap the keg at the Whitnall Park Beer Garden for its 2025 season on Saturday, May 3rd at 11:30 a.m. Recent improvements to the Root River Parkway trail and expanded ADA-accessible parking improvements make the popular outdoor venue easier and safer to reach for visitors of all abilities. The grand opening celebration will be held at 8831 N. Root River Parkway, Greendale.

“The Whitnall Park Beer Garden has become a beloved gathering place for our community,” said Supervisor Vincent. “It brings people together to enjoy our beautiful parks, support local brewers, and connect with neighbors. With recent upgrades to the parkway and expanded accessible parking, even more visitors can now enjoy this fantastic space. And with every pint poured, we’re investing back into our county parks. I’m excited for another season of fresh air, great beer, and community.”

The Whitnall Park Beer Garden will feature 24 craft beer handles with beers from several local breweries and live music from local musicians throughout the season.

The Beer Garden will be open seven days a week this year, from Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM, and Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays from 11 AM to 9 PM.
