Madison, WI — A local development advisory firm is taking the lead as a sponsor of An Evening Around the World, the August 27 dinner to benefit WorldWise Microfinance and its programs of small loans in the Global South.
Cashew Commonwealth is a Madison-based advisory and consulting firm that provides counsel and research for socially‑minded investors, anti‑poverty efforts, and community‑focused enterprises. “We embrace imaginative development, offering insights that go beyond numbers and data points to illuminate the human dynamics that traditional analysis often overlooks,” according to owner Brad Paul. “By doing so, we help organizations make informed, values‑aligned decisions that strengthen the systems they touch.”
Brad Paul previously directed Wisconsin Community Action Programs, and was director of mission services for Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin. He serves on the boards of WorldWise Microfinance, and Citizens Utility Board.
The August 27 benefit, on the rooftop of The Lyric in downtown Madison, will feature unique dishes prepared by the Madison Club’s executive chef Adam Streubing.
