Hortonville, WI (April 23, 2026): In response to the recent flooding that impacted communities along the Wolf River, Wolf River Community Bank has taken action to support residents, volunteers, and recovery efforts in New London, Shiocton, and surrounding areas.

Flood Relief Efforts and Community Support
Wolf River Community Bank has contributed time, resources, and financial assistance through a wide range of initiatives, including:
- Sandbagging and Flood Mitigation Support: Multiple days of sandbagging efforts in New London by bank staff volunteers to assist local flood mitigation operations.
- Disaster Recovery Assistance Participation: Active participation in Outagamie County’s Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC), a one-stop event where disaster survivors can access multiple assistance and recovery programs under one roof.
- Free Meal for Cleanup Volunteers: Supplying all food and bank staff volunteers to partner with the Hortonville Lions Club in serving a free meal for registered Shiocton volunteers supporting the Village of Shiocton’s major flood cleanup day on Saturday, April 25.
- Cleanup Supply Donations: Donation of cleaning supplies, including wet/dry vacuums and fans, were delivered to the Black Creek Fire Department to assist residents with post-flood cleanup efforts.
- $100,000 in Donations to Support New London & Shiocton: A $50,000 donation to the New London Chamber of Commerce and a $50,000 donation to Friends of the Shiocton-Bovina Fire Department to support flood relief and recovery efforts in those communities, both of which are home to Wolf River Community Bank branches.
- Flood Relief Loan Program: Launch of a Flood Relief Loan Program to help individuals recover from flood-related damage.
Flood Relief Loan Program Details
Wolf River Community Bank’s Flood Relief Loan Program is designed to provide timely financial support to customers and community members impacted by flooding. Financing can support home repairs, property cleanup, and replacement of essential household items.

- $5,000 unsecured loan
- Fixed rate of 4.00% APR* for 36 months
- No payments for 90 days
- No origination fee
- Fast Approval to get funds to people quickly
- Applications accepted until August 1, 2026
Normal underwriting guidelines apply and loans are subject to credit approval. Applicants will be asked to provide details regarding the extent of flood-related damage.
