UW-Green Bay: Welcomes five startups to gBETA Pre-accelerator

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has partnered with global venture firm and startup accelerator, gener8tor, to announce the second gBETA UW-Green Bay pre-accelerator powered by gener8tor cohort. The accelerator focuses on early-stage companies working across all industries. The latest cohort kicked off April 23, 2026, with startups in food drone delivery, premium healthy frozen desserts, corporate events tech platform, health monitoring for dogs and cocktail syrups.

gBETA UW-Green Bay is a free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator program that provides startup founders with concierge coaching and programming, along with access to a large network of mentors, customers and investors. The program is designed to set a path for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities, while building the startup density in northeastern Wisconsin.

This Wednesday, May 13, the startup founders will host a panel discussion about their companies to investors, community partners, and the public at a welcome showcase event at the Phoenix Room in the University Union, 2430 Campus Ct, Green Bay, WI 54311. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., event starts at 6 p.m.  Guests can find more information and RSVP via this web page.

One company, Skybite, was founded by a UW-Green Bay student; four companies, Dulce Gracia, eBombo, WagVitals, and Still Syrups, came to Wisconsin through gener8tor and WEDC’s Accelerate Wisconsin initiative. Accelerate Wisconsin invites high-potential international startups to establish U.S. headquarters in gener8tor’s partner communities, delivering fresh innovation, new jobs and long-term economic growth. Each startup adds to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region that source services from local companies and create opportunities for local American jobs.

Powering the entrepreneurial start-up culture through our partnership with gener8tor is not only great for UW-Green Bay, but for the region,” said UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander. “It’s exciting to see our next cohort and wide variety of industries they represent.

Together, UW-Green Bay and gener8tor aim to bring early-stage startup programming to the region and create an environment that will embrace and support founders from the region. Additionally, UW-Green Bay alumni no longer stationed in the region are also encouraged to apply. This accelerator is industry agnostic and will consider applications across all sectors. It will follow the curriculum of gener8tor’s global pre-accelerator, gBETA.

“We’re thrilled to partner with UW-Green Bay to bring gBETA to the region,” said Vanessa Huerta, gener8tor gBETA Vice President. “We’re excited to build on the momentum from last semester and bring truly impactful programming to early-stage founders looking to scale their startups.”

Skybite is a food drone delivery company. We use cutting edge fully autonomous drone technology to ensure consistent 15-minute delivery times to our customers and strive to be as ecologically friendly as possible. With our innovative pathing program our drones can operate even in adverse weather conditions, provided they are flying in an area with high risers. We will primarily operate in large urban areas with heavy traffic, as drones can best utilize their advantage over traditional delivery options when the latter are stuck in traffic.
