Employee-owned holding company recognized for business growth, economic impact and commitment to the Waukesha County community
Waukesha, Wis. (September 14, 2026) — OwnersEdge, a 100% employee-owned holding company that invests in and grows Midwest-based technology businesses, has been named the 2026 Waukesha County Large Business of the Year by the Waukesha County Business Alliance. The award recognizes organizations with a significant presence in southeast Wisconsin based on financial growth and consistency, contributions to economic growth, community service, and a commitment to good business practices.

Founded in 2015, OwnersEdge partners with and grows businesses delivering mission-critical technology and infrastructure solutions. Its portfolio includes CC&N, BAYCOM, Implecho, QComp Technologies, Asche & Spencer, and EmbedTek, with several businesses headquartered or maintaining a significant presence in Waukesha County.
OwnersEdge has continued to expand through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Revenue grew over the past year through organic expansion, and the addition of Waukesha County-based EmbedTek is expected to more than triple its growth rate in 2026. The acquisition, the largest in OwnersEdge history, also added more than 80 employee owners in the greater Waukesha community.
Today, more than 400 employee owners across the OwnersEdge portfolio directly benefit from the organization’s performance. The employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) model allows OwnersEdge to create long-term wealth-building opportunities for employees while providing acquired businesses with a succession path designed to preserve their leadership, culture, and local presence.
OwnersEdge and its operating companies also contribute to the region through volunteerism, workforce development and community partnerships. In 2025, employee owners contributed more than 140 volunteer hours to organizations and causes including Hunger Task Force, Salvation Army, Feeding America and the Center for Independence, while annual drives supported Waukesha County organizations including Toys for Tots, Lake Country Caring, the Waukesha Food Pantry, and The Women’s Center.
Workforce development efforts include partnerships with GPS Education Partners, through which CC&N and BAYCOM provide high school students with hands-on experience and exposure to careers in technical fields. Since 2023, CC&N has supported 13 students through the program, including four 2026 graduates who committed to joining the business full-time.
OwnersEdge leadership is also actively involved in the regional business community. Dillon currently serves on the Waukesha County Business Alliance Board of Directors, alongside other business and community leaders working to advance economic growth throughout the region.
The 2026 recognition carries additional significance for the OwnersEdge family following the selection of EmbedTek (acquired by OwnersEdge earlier this year) Chief Operating Officer Tom Fotsch as the Alliance’s 2026 Don Richards Leadership Award recipient. The award recognizes individuals for their vision, community impact, and ability to involve others in the leadership process. Fotsch was recognized for his longstanding leadership, philanthropic involvement, and contributions to economic development throughout Waukesha County.
