The approval allows eligible Wisconsin-commissioned notaries to use the Notaron platform to perform remote online notarizations in accordance with Wisconsin requirements.
Wisconsin authorized Remote Online Notarization through Wisconsin Act 125. The state requires Wisconsin notaries performing remote notarizations to use communication technology that satisfies standards established by the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and the Wisconsin Remote Notary Council.
