| MILWAUKEE — Thanks to the generosity and community-minded leadership of Attorney Michael F. Hupy and the law firm of Hupy and Abraham, Milwaukee County residents and visitors will once again enjoy one of the area’s most anticipated summer celebrations, the July 3 Lakefront Drone & Pyrotechnics Show at McKinley Beach. The free public event will feature three spectacular 15-minute drone performances synchronized with music, along with dazzling pyrotechnic effects that will illuminate Milwaukee’s lakefront in a one-of-a-kind, choreographed display expected to draw thousands of spectators. The popular celebration is returning largely because of the extraordinary support of Attorney Michael Hupy and the law firm of Hupy and Abraham. For the second consecutive year, Hupy has stepped forward as the event’s Presenting Sponsor, making a personal contribution of $60,000 toward the fundraising effort. In addition, Hupy and Abraham has committed another $10,000, bringing their combined contribution to $70,000 and making them the event’s largest supporter.“After hearing the incredible feedback from the community following last year’s show, I’m honored to step up again as presenting sponsor,” said Hupy. “Bringing people together for a shared celebration like this is something I deeply believe in. Events like this create lasting memories for families and strengthen our sense of community.”The total cost of this year’s event is approximately $250,000. According to Milwaukee County Parks Director Guy Smith, the drone and pyrotechnics show costs roughly half as much as a traditional fireworks display while offering a unique, innovative, and environmentally conscious alternative. To help close the remaining funding gap, Milwaukee County Parks has secured a $50,000 challenge grant that will match the final dollars raised. Hupy and Abraham’s additional $10,000 contribution helped launch that effort and reflects the firm’s longstanding commitment to supporting programs and events that enhance quality of life throughout southeastern Wisconsin.“Because the community has been so loyal to my law firm for so many years, Hupy and Abraham is proud to make an additional contribution to help ensure this event returns for families across southeastern Wisconsin,” Hupy added. For decades, Michael Hupy and Hupy and Abraham have invested in initiatives that strengthen neighborhoods, support charitable organizations, improve public safety, and bring people together. Under Hupy’s leadership, the firm has donated more than $1 million to community causes and nonprofit organizations throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest.Their combined $70,000 contribution to the July 3 Lakefront Drone & Pyrotechnics Show reflects that ongoing commitment and helps ensure this free public celebration remains accessible to thousands of residents and visitors.Beyond his role as founder and president of Hupy and Abraham, Michael Hupy serves as President of Milwaukee Crime Stoppers and has long been recognized for his dedication to improving the Milwaukee community through philanthropy, public service, and charitable giving. |
