Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity Waukesha-Jefferson-Rock celebrates Domenica Park Subdivision completion

Waukesha, Wis. – Habitat for Humanity Waukesha – Jefferson – Rock is thrilled to announce the Domenica Block Party celebration event dedicating the final 14 homes in the Domenica Park neighborhood, a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to provide affordable housing. This special event will take place on August 20,2026 at 4:00 p.m. at 402 N. Greenfield Avenue, Waukesha, WI.

The Domenica Park project, which began in the summer of 2022, is a testament to the dedication and generosity of our community. This vibrant neighborhood features 16 single-family homes and 2 duplex town homes, providing stable and secure housing for a total of 20 families.

“Completing Domenica Park is proof of what’s possible when a community decides that no one builds alone.  Together, we’ve created a whole neighborhood filled with hope and opportunity.  A place where families will put down roots and thrive.” said Melissa Songco, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Waukesha – Jefferson – Rock.

The multi-family dedication ceremony will bring together local leaders, community supporters, volunteers, and the families who call Domenica Park home. The event will feature a formal dedication program highlighting the impact of the project, and a celebration of the collective efforts that made this vision a reality.

Domenica Park is the result of tremendous teamwork and steadfast support from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Habitat for Humanity is incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy to this transformative project. Community members are encouraged to join us at The Domenica Park Block party to celebrate the completion of homes that embody our goal: building strength, stability & self-reliance through affordable housing.
