GREEN BAY, Wis. — As coaches and players gear up for the 2026-2027 professional season, it’s also time for fans to plan their own game day strategy. Delta Air Lines is making that planning more convenient by introducing new flights and capacity upgrades at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) this fall.
The expanded service will provide easy access to one of football’s greatest legacies – Lambeau Field. It will also allow local Green Bay Packers fans to travel alongside the team to new cities and stadiums throughout the season. Delta Air Lines announced the following special flights at GRB:
- Falcons at Packers: Atlanta (ATL) to Green Bay (GRB) on Sept. 23, with return service Sept. 24
- Packers at Bucs: Atlanta (ATL) to Green Bay (GRB) on Oct. 3, with return service Oct. 5

“The demand to visit Green Bay is growing and something we are continuously working with our airline partners to meet that demand,” said Airport Director Marty Piette. “Increased capacity provided by Delta allows us to provide greater access for fans to connect with our community and the surrounding Northeast Wisconsin region. We are thankful for the strong partnerships we have built with local airlines who support us in the process of meeting the needs of travelers.”
The added service is following additional non-stop routes added earlier this year from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York City and Reagan National Airport (DCA) in Arlington, Virginia for the Wisconsin-Notre Dame showdown at Lambeau Field in September. American Airlines also announced special flights from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Charlotte (CLT), Buffalo (BUF) and Houston (IAH) last month as part of their largest-ever football travel schedule.
“The ability for our community to host large-scale, national events starts with the strong partnerships formed by our local businesses and organizations,” said Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “The collaboration of GRB and Delta is just one example of how we are ensuring travelers have the ability to visit our region conveniently, while providing a top-tier experience along the way, ultimately driving lasting economic impact and reinforcing Green Bay is a destination worth coming back to.”
“Green Bay Packers home-game weekends are must-see events that are enjoyed by Packers fans near and far,” explained Green Bay Packers Director of Public Affairs Aaron Popkey. “We’re very proud of the electric atmosphere we’ve developed around Lambeau Field, as well as what the entire community provides to our guests. We’re so pleased that Delta has worked with GRB to add additional opportunities for travelers, including some visiting team fans, to take in the unique experience that is offered in Green Bay during the season.”
The additional flights are available for booking on each airline’s website and mobile app.
