Grace Jagler featured again on giant Times Square screens as her Watertown company prepares to open new packing facility
WATERTOWN, Wis. (September 17, 2026) — Grace Jagler of Watertown was once again featured in the bright lights of Times Square Saturday morning, representing the Down syndrome community as part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s (NDSS) annual Times Square Video Presentation.
Jagler’s photograph was among more than 500 images of children, teens and adults with Down syndrome from all 50 states and 12 countries featured during the one-hour presentation. The presentation kicked off the annual New York City Buddy Walk® and was displayed on two giant screens in the heart of Times Square.
The appearance was particularly meaningful for Jagler and her family because this was not her first time being selected for the NDSS Times Square presentation. She was previously featured in the annual event, making her return to the giant screens an especially exciting honor.
“We were thrilled when Grace was selected the first time, so to see her up there again was pretty incredible,” said John Jagler, Grace’s father. “There are certain moments when you stop and realize just how far Grace has come. Watching her picture appear on those screens in Times Square was definitely one of those moments.”
Gracie’s Doggie Delights was also a sponsor of this year’s New York City Buddy Walk, making the day even more significant for the Watertown-based company.
“Being able to support the event while watching Grace’s picture appear in Times Square made the whole experience even more special for our family,” Jagler said. “Grace has always been at the heart of everything we do, so being able to celebrate her and support the Down syndrome community at the same time was really meaningful.”
From a Dining Room to a New Watertown Facility
The Times Square appearance comes during another milestone month for Jagler and Gracie’s Doggie Delights.
The company is preparing to move into a new packing facility on South 5th Street in Watertown, giving the growing business significantly more space for packing, storage and operations.
“We started this business for Grace, but along the way, she has shown us just how much she is capable of,” Grace’s mother Heidi said. “Ten years later, this new building represents so much more than growth, it represents our determination as a family, what can happen when you give someone an opportunity and let them build on it.”
The move comes as Gracie’s Doggie Delights celebrates its 10th anniversary. The company was founded in 2016 after Grace had difficulty finding employment after finishing school. What began as an effort to create an opportunity for Grace has grown into a nationwide business serving its G-Dog Family of customers.
The company specializes in premium, single-ingredient freeze-dried meat treats for dogs and cats, with meat sourced and freeze-dried in the United States. The business packages its products in Watertown and ships them to customers throughout the country.
The new South 5th Street facility represents the next step in that growth.
The timing of the milestones has made 2026 a particularly memorable year for the Jagler family and Gracie’s Doggie Delights.
Ten years after the company began, Grace has once again appeared on giant screens in New York City, the company has supported the New York City Buddy Walk as a sponsor, and the business is preparing to begin its next chapter in a new facility in its hometown of Watertown.
“We couldn’t have written a better story for our 10th anniversary,” her father John said. “Grace in Times Square and a new building in Watertown. Ten years ago, we were just trying to find a way to create an opportunity for Grace. Today, we’re looking at something we never could have imagined.”
