APPLETON, Wis. – Fox Communities Credit Union will host the 9th annual Bike to the Beat on Saturday, August 1, inviting riders of all ages to come together for a day of community, live music, local food and giving back. Registration fees and additional donations from the event support the Fox Cares Foundation.
Bike to the Beat reflects Fox Communities Credit Union’s commitment to building strong relationships and stronger communities. Along the fun ride, participants can choose from routes ranging from 12 to 54 miles. Along the way, riders will enjoy live music, local food and at stops throughout Northeast Wisconsin. What began as a unique community event has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated summer traditions, attracting more than 2,600 participants from 19 states.
“At Fox, we believe strong communities are built through strong relationships,” said Heather Wessley, Vice President of Community Impact at Fox Communities Credit Union. “Bike to the Beat is one of the ways we show up for the communities we serve. It’s an opportunity to bring people together, celebrate what makes our region special and create a lasting impact.”
Bike to the Beat is also the largest annual fundraiser for the Fox Cares Foundation, with all registration fees and additional donations directly supporting the Foundation’s grantmaking efforts. In 2025 alone, the event generated nearly $100,000 to help fight hunger, end homelessness and expand access to the arts throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
