FOX CITIES, Wis. (August 18, 2026) – The Fox Cities Chamber’s Young Professionals Network will host “There Is No Such Thing as Time Management: A New Take on Productivity” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at U.S. Venture, 222 W. College Avenue, Appleton. The professional development event is open to both Chamber members and non-members of all ages.
The session will focus on practical strategies related to prioritization, discipline, consistency, energy management, impulse control and decision-making. Attendees will learn how shifting the focus from managing time to managing themselves can help them become more effective and productive in both their professional and personal lives.
Featured speaker Terry Wetzel will challenge traditional approaches to time management and offer a new perspective on productivity. Rather than viewing time as something that can be managed, Wetzel will explore how individuals can take greater ownership of how they use their time.
Wetzel brings a background spanning business and education. He holds a master’s degree in business education and most recently served as associate vice president of partnership development at a startup company located at TitletownTech in Green Bay. His education experience includes serving as a teacher, principal and director of teaching and learning.
In addition to his professional experience, Wetzel has taught college courses within the University of Wisconsin System, served as a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, and coached track and cross country.
Cost for the event is $10. Registration is required. For more information or to register, visit https://members.foxcc.net/chamber-events/Details/2026-there-is-no-such-thing-as-time-management-a-new-take-on-productivity-1883023?sourceTypeId=Website.
