CABLE, Wis. (June 8, 2026) — Epic Bike Fest once again transformed Mt. Telemark Village and the surrounding Northwoods into a celebration of mountain biking, gravel riding, community, and outdoor adventure this past weekend June 5–7.
Hosted by the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, the three-day festival welcomed riders and spectators from across the Midwest and beyond for a packed schedule of racing, shakeout ride, expo, food, camping, and kids race centered around the Hub at Mt. Telemark Village, Trek Trails Powered by OTM and the CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Trails) trail systems.
Athletes competed in a variety of events throughout the weekend, including the Borah Teamwear Single Track races and Best Day Brewing Gravel races, with riders tackling fast-flowing singletrack, rugged climbs, technical descents, and scenic gravel roads throughout the Hayward / Cable area.
“This weekend showcased everything that makes riding in the Northwoods special,” said Ben Popp, ExecutiveDirector of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. “From elite racers battling for podium spots to first-time participants enjoying the trails and community atmosphere, Epic Bike Fest continues to be one of the premier cycling weekends in the Midwest.”
The festival featured riders of all ages and abilities, including professional and amateur athletes, families, juniors, and recreational riders experiencing the CAMBA and Mt. Telemark Village trails for the first time.
