Brookfield, WI – Wednesday, June 10, 2026 – The Elmbrook Education Foundation is proud to award 85 scholarships, on behalf of our generous donors, to graduating seniors at Brookfield East and Brookfield Central High Schools. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of honorary and memorial funds, community groups, businesses and school PTOs. These students exhibit not only educational excellence, but also leadership and service to their schools and community.
“We are extremely grateful to our scholarship donors for their extraordinary generosity. Their support empowers Elmbrook students to pursue their goals and leaves a lasting impact that extends far beyond graduation,” said Beth Dobrzynski, EEF Executive Director.
The EEF takes great care to select recipients that meet the criteria provided by our scholarship sponsors. Over $1.9 million in scholarships has been awarded to our community’s graduating seniors through the Elmbrook Education Foundation. Students were recognized at the 2 nd Annual EEF Scholarship Night held at The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts on Monday, June 1 st .
“Our scholarship recipients have distinguished themselves through their hard work, leadership, and service. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and the bright futures they are creating. We are also deeply grateful to our generous donors, whose belief in the potential of our students makes these opportunities possible. Their support is an investment not only in individual students, but in the future of our entire community.” Caroline Bown, Scholarship Committee Chair, Elmbrook Education Foundation.
EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. In 2020, our mission shifted once again to include staff appreciation and recognition events. EEF has awarded over $1,900,000 in scholarships and over $975,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
