Association Acumen: Acumen celebrates 20th anniversary

Menomonee Falls, WI – Association Acumen, an award-winning full-service accredited association
management firm based in Menomonee Falls, WI celebrated its 20 th anniversary July 1. Founded in 2006, Acumen provides full-service management for state, national and international professional associations. Its first client, the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS), joined Acumen in 2006, followed by the Society for Mucosal Immunology (SMI) in 2008, the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) in 2012, and the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) in 2014. Other current clients include the New York State Society of Physician Associates (NYSSPA), the Michigan Academy of Physician Associates (MAPA), and QRCA.

Milestones Since 2006:
– Acumen has managed over twenty national, international, and state organizations.
– Acumen has grown from two to sixteen team members.
– Acumen moved to a larger suite of offices in 2014 with two levels, private offices, a library and
large conference rooms suitable for board and committee meetings.
– Since 2009, Acumen has been accredited and reaccredited by the prestigious Association Management Company Institute five times, signifying the use of best practices and the ability to consistently deliver service excellence. Only 17% of 500 association management companies are accredited.
– Association Acumen was named to the 2015 Future 50 company list by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC). The program recognizes companies in the area that have shown strong and consistent growth.

Acumen services include membership management, governance, financial management, website and database integration, meeting and convention management, legislative advocacy, communications and strategic planning.
