MADISON, Wis. — August 2026 — After years of helping clients achieve natural-looking, customized color in the spray tan studio, AfterGlow Tan Co. founder Ashlei Hartmann is taking the glow home.
On August 22, 2026, AfterGlow Tan Co. will officially launch The AfterGlow, a moisturizing, hydrating, tan-extending and gradual color-building body lotion created to bridge the gap between professional spray tan appointments.
The product grew out of a problem Hartmann saw repeatedly behind the spray gun: clients loved their professional tans, but needed an easy way to maintain their color, hydration and confidence at home.
“I wanted something my clients could use between appointments that actually felt like an extension of the AfterGlow experience,” Hartmann said. “Not just another tanning product — something that gives you that hydrated, just-got-a-tan feeling at home.”
Hartmann is a licensed esthetician, eight-time certified Master Spray Tan Artist and professional makeup artist who has built AfterGlow Tan Co. around customized, UV-free tanning and a belief that Every BODY is beautiful.
What began as a local spray tanning business has grown into multiple service locations, bridal and mobile tanning, professional beauty services and an expanding AfterGlow retail collection.
The AfterGlow represents the company’s next step: taking the expertise developed through thousands of real client appointments and translating it into products consumers can use themselves.

The AfterGlow officially launches August 22, 2026, with a launch celebration hosted by AfterGlow Tan Co.
